Is it too late to add a 4th point to the bill to address the demand side equation:
increased uptake of EV cars (for whatever reason) by those can tolerate higher electric bills are squeezing the pockets of those who can’t (and most likely don’t own an EV)
.. but I guess this would be unpopular to address reality of adding an EV levy instead of and remove the subsidy? If not we’re paying more tax to help rich EV buyers who push up grid prices to then pay more tax for handouts to those affected?
