That is somewhat unkind, not every investor is a corporate monster as you post. To roll all this up and lay at the feet of investors is overreach. Energy security and energy poverty are almost entirely due to Govts (all sides but mostly Labor/Greens/Teals- not mentioned in your post) inability to separate the obligation to govern in the public interest or in sheer political self-interest and seek (re)election.
