wonder how hard for affected parties to re-route supply to realise south Korea Japan prices? How long would that take?
the blow back with such dumb popularity pain evasive ST non-market centric policies is in the long term we’ll end up buying back what we exported from the sensible market driven value adding players who can make LT strategic decisions.
this a step towards colosseum style leadership with a dictators/emperor thumbs up/down crowd pleasing governance framework… ignoring the blood sweat and tears fight to find the funds/investments/risks/infrastructure/know how to keep the lights on so the masses remained entertained
if only there’s a way to side-step to realise the spot prices below from which the new labour grid can buy back from at its pleasure:
