We’re sending an international message about capital investment in Australia ….the message that no matter what you do your sums on in terms of expected risk/return…..no matter what deals you shake hands on ……no matter what contracts you sign …..you run the risk of the government randomly shifting the goal posts (and taking a big bite into the ‘return’ side of your investment thesis)
This kind of government interference in the free market seriously undermines investor confidence and makes us look like a bit of a high risk joke in international investment circles.
Major capital investment in Australia where returns are over the long term ? - No Thanks
Typically dumb and financially illiterate woke left wing thinking from the Albanese government. With years of it to come. A serious worry.
