devout christian convinces my mother to church

surprise Xmas morning

I wake up & the house is empty

I have slept in when I would normally be at the beach, result of too consecutive late nights, with relatives

my mother is at 8:00am mass at the holy family church, as she advised me she would be attending, yesterday

unusual for my mother, despite her Lebanese Maronite upbringing, never believed in god, even as a child.

obviously, similar to my childhood, despite my parents sending us kids (not them) to church, we are genetically atheist Lebanese family

I was a little concerned yesterday an evangelical may have pulled her heart strings since my mother is extremely charitable, always helping others. mum is always doing something for someone

lo and beyond, I was stunned

the devout Christian who persuaded my mother to attend church with him, pleading from their heart, is a gay (homosexual) man

miracles do happen!
