Anyone who thinks this was meant to be a company maker is sadly deluded. It is merely another box ticked and just cements what we already knew. Now we can move onto off-takes and financing. What other spec miner boasts of becoming a producer soon? Not many!
I suggest you follow up on the history of some of our small cap (spec) miners that made it big. You will see the road was not always paved with gold along the way. Sandfire Resources is one (SFR), SYR is another, not that I'm comparing THR with SFR or SYR in any way.
At least with THR, we know what the plan is and what they want to do going forward, unlike a lot of spec miners that just drill holes in blind hope.
Who knows, come Monday on the ASX our market may warm to the DFS as it's definitely something everyone was waiting for and now they have it. Plus there are no nasty surprises in there. It shows the company is fair dinkum when it says it will deliver on announcements. All looks good from where I sit.
Now with Spring Hill drilling almost underway who knows what they will find there. The potential is there and that's why we are at 2c. This is the speculative end of town people. So you can either speculate or get out. Another way is to put your money in the bank and earn 4% per annum. 20+ years to double your money or a few good months in a spec miner will do the trick. If you choose the bank option then I hope you will enjoy working until you are 70.
So if this drops to 1.5c or goes to 3c it won't make any difference, unless you are in it for a short term trade, in which case you should have got out by now.
Announcement of off-takes and financing will be the company maker, not this DFS.
