Reading Delta5's post made me wonder what would happen if the insto's in the wings were to let the subscription collapse and pick up their shares (or client's shares) at a substantial discount on market through Jan/Feb or whatever the timing would end up being. Without any other funding options it seems as though the SP may be at the mercy of the potential suppliers of capital.

If the rights issue is really poorly subscribed, who's brave enough to suggest a bottom? Geez it could be ugly...

And if it is undersubscribed, it might not be a reflection of the market's view of the project, but a pretty well played strategy by the bigger fish. This game sucks at the small end of town!!
