After doing some extensive research on these two companies it does seem that both listed entities are about to announce either a joint venture or infact a takeover .

The scenario would possibly be a takeover by Chariot of DFT, as this would give them a totally national footprint in the ISP business and propel them into the top 5 providers.
This objective has been clearly stated in thier recently released Annual Report to which it re-iterates a need to acquire a larger ISP.They are certainly more liquid than DFT and would have the borrowing capabilities to fund such a venture.

The fact now remains as to whether this process will be beneficial for DFT shareholders as could a share price diluted by the 1+ Billion shares on issue, be a stumbling block?
I could not imagine an offer of more that 2 cents a share whereby, it could become a more viable propositon for Chariot to merge and take a controlling interest.
