No, but one doesn't want to do it with a down trending share price.
It's really a market cap. thing. If a company has a market cap. of $60 milliion, then it's market cap is $60 million irrespective of the amount of shares that it has.
Institutions are supposed to like companies with fewer shares than we have.
BUT, look at SDL, heaps of shares on issue.
For me, it's about market cap and how tightly held the shares are.
