MORNING TRENSETTERS
Dgoransson. Who is this fella? Popped up from the chart forum by the looks.
The chart forum is a dry bar. This, our beloved XJO forum, is definitely wet. And if you want to dampen that whistle and REALLY deploy the talent, however naive it may be, this is the place to unleash that potential genius.
Dgoransson has also done some time over at that shonky joint - 'Short term trading.' Short term alright, follow that advice and you'll be solvent - very short term.
Dgoransson has a great link to his chart commmentary. He warned it would be a bit dull, and to be straight - as we can be here Trendsetters - he was! BUT, what a relief from Haspete's 'Big Bad Wolf' impersonation. It might sound sexy but time to give up those fags Pete!!
Actually, even though Dgoransson is a bit dull on his video, he makes up for it well and truly with his marvellous intepretation of the bars, non chalantly verbalizing the mindless pshycology of Mr Market.
Take it away Dgorensson
'Just follow the money. If they ARE accumulating they will want to test the supply in Tuesdays bar or as close to as possible.
and
Once someone showed me how to stop thinking too much and just watch the money/volume and what happens on that volume it all fell into place for me. Let the money decide what its worth and then follow the money.'.
XJO Matters
We had a fiesty day on the forum yesterday. Couple of spats...all quite normal for us egomaniacs that inhabit the joint. Hopefully, no one spits the dummy and says I don't wanna play anymore.
Scorp57 was arguing with the market...
'Where are these foolish bulls coming? I am usually a bull, however the last 2 weeks have shown the state of the world economy, yet we have bounced backfrom armageddon with no proper reason?'. Scorp57 .
What are you talking about Scorp - my PF is still a picture of armageddon? Break even point is about S&P200 4700 for me
Mongo brings out the thesaurus again..
'We are trading sentiment, we are going along for the ride as the big market movers see opportunities to make a fast dollar (or million). Don't look at fundamentals and expect some inexorable nexus with share price--because fundamentals certainly do not change much if any from day to day.'
Funky wants to go back and test that high volume bar ASAP and Chrisfords empathising with buyers from up higher (me)
'This is where it gets really tricky for holders like BiggD. What to do? Will the rally continue, and if so I might even turn a profit, or do I get out of the market when this run looks like it is ending, and take a loss, albeit a much smaller loss that what I was looking at a few weeks ago? Such a tough call. I don't envy those in that position.'. CHRISFORD
Sigh, I am that predictable. If you can see in to my head, what hope is there against the big boys. Yes, I was pondering that exact thought.
Without futher ado My Crappy Portfolio. Add 30k to losses from previous crap trades on the way down. Total down, about 83k. Bear in mind, I was about 150k down on 'Spike down Heart palpataion Tuesday'
