Agree with the comments coming to light from actual small investor shareholders. Failure after failure. Mather and his self-selected board have used DGR to get paid significant amounts of money for decades. Mather has been paid, I suggest, well over $5 million...possibly over $10 million plus bonus shares etc., over this period. They fill up with bonus shares and have bought shares when they contrive and conspire amongst themselves and their significant investor friends, forcing/manipulating the share prices to drop so they can hoover up at absolute cheap prices. SOLG came on the market at 50p and fell to 2p and didn't Mather buy up big at this level. The day traders and the chose few, including secretaries of the past, have made absolute killings as well. Unfortunately, one of more serious problems for DGR holders, without the knowledge that board members keep to themselves, is that should SOLG be sold off, all the money coming to DGR will be under their total control as to where it goes. ORBIS saw how profits were very marginally given out to DGR holders as a very small dividend with most going to support the other daughter companies. Mather sold his orbis shares at a huge profit. Each and every year he and they got their 50 pieces of gold from each of the companies. How many are making money now through good governance and management. Yeah right......not too many left standing.
So SOLG gets sold and a dividend is once more distributed to us. Mather sells his solg shares at a huge profit and DGR continues to paying him to lose the rest, which has been his true skill.
DGR must be wound up should a sale of assets occur but with these fellows it simply will not happen.
