Are you an Investor or a day trader?If you are an investor then you would not concern you self with day to day movement in price. You either believe in the story and considering the available information believe that the SP is undervalued, if yes you invest / stay invested. You exit when you stop believing the story or SP is fully or overvalued. Once you exit dont get back in at a SP which is higher than your exit price. If you do that then you will always buy high and sell low.
Investing is gambling in blue sky - Value of stock is the present value of its future earnings.
