NNW of Rotto about 10Nm (pure gold just like MUN) on a very big lump in about 80-100mtrs and Pinkies love the water to be choppy and are best at night so take a jumper and some pills lol. Hard work but great fun when you get onto them.

Simple Paternoster rig is fine with 2 leaders and single hooks. I like to use two hooks on each leader with snelled chemical sharpened hooks. Drift fishing is best, with Dhuy's I find they like the bait stationary, they are like me...big fat and lazy!

I have never caught a Pinkie in still, flat water.

Just lately I have been pretty busy and have found it easier to go to the fresh fish shop in Jandakot next to Tony Ales. Simply fresh as and the next best thing to catching your own. They get big pinkies from Kalbarri daily, wife goes there every Friday if I am not fishing.
