Hey SS. I too had concerns about deleted lines at woolworths in my area. My local woolworths are the armadale, malvern and toorak stores. This concern also prompted me to speak to diagous. They reaffirmed what you have said that the formula is selling well. I understand the stance the company has taken, as the flooding of BAL formula onto the market and the subsequent discounting in 2016 almost brought the company to its knees.
This supply shortage will certainly maintain margins, however I personally believe that the retail taps can be loosened to avoid missing out on domestic sales.
Nevertheless, i would be naive to believe. that the Australian market is the end game. BAL are placing themselves in a light that retains Diagous and places them in the most appealing light as a China retail supplier once approval is granted
