My focus will be on the extent to which the Board addresses Question 4 on our collective list:

"Can the Board please provide an update as to when it anticipates the Company commercializing its magnetic technologies used in conjunction with microneedles?"

My primary reason for focusing on this right now is that there has been an active effort by the Company all of this year, and continuing to date, to secure the grant of the microneedle patch patent in both Australia and the United States.

I have previously advised that the Australian microneedle patch patent was "accepted" on 18 September 2017 (with the formal grant ordinarily following "acceptance" after 3 months).

The United States related application has been actively pursued by the Company for most of this year. The activity report from the US patent office is reproduced below.




The most recent documents filed by the Company's patent attorneys at the United States patent office was less than a week ago on 11 October 2017.  They have made more amendments to the application clearly optimistic that it will now be accepted and granted:



This amount of concentrated activity and effort by the Company to get a patent granted so quickly is unusual.  We need to ask why.  The only plausible explanation is that commercialization of magnetophoresis combined with microneedles is contemplated very shortly.

Accordingly, don't let this one fly under the radar this afternoon.
