diamond drill rig

Does anyone know what it costs to purchase a new Diamond Drill Rig as mentioned in the SDL Quaterly Report?

Also, there is an argument out there to suggest that further drilling may be the result of SDL needing more resources to convince strategic partners to seal the deal.

If this is the case, I would have thought that confirming the suggested CAPEX cost savings would have been a cheaper, easier, quicker and more logical solution to convincing strategic partners.
