Ltd (AKD) reports field testing of a gravity diamond target identified
from a Falcon survey over AKD's tenement E80/2461 has commenced by the
operators, Striker Resources and Gravity Diamonds.
The gravity anomaly, KGN-070, has to date produced 4
microdiamonds from surface samples and is upstream of a previously taken
reconnaissance bulk stream sample which reported 3 commercial sized
diamonds, one of which was a 1.73 carat gem.
Striker, which is managing the field program on behalf of the
joint venture partners, plans to trench the gravity anomaly, KGN-070,
which is 260m x 200m in size, and if the results are encouraging, plans
to drill test the target.
