Elkedra gets big increase in diamond sales in November

Diamonds NL (ASX:EDN) has delivered a substantial increase in November's
diamond production, average stone size and average price per carat from
its Chapada alluvial diamond project in Brazil.
Its fifth diamond sale since start-up achieved an average price
of $US442 per carat for a total revenue of $US1.22 million.
This parcel of 2,753 carats consisted of 4,932 stones with an
average stone size of 0.56cts.
The sale parcel included 7 stones in excess of 10 carats.
The best quality stone was 13.11 carats in size and was valued at
$US4,800/carat.
The next diamond sale is scheduled to take place on 11 January
2007.
