CVI isn't now, nor never has been a 'real' company. It is a white collar scam run for the enrichment of Malcolm Johnson/Anton (von? lol) Tarkanyi/Mark Smyth and associated career scammers. These people have been conning unwary investors for many years, on an international level.
Take heart that ASIC continues to investigate this sorry saga. The process takes a long time, but unfortunately, that's due to the complex nature of the web of deception that has occurred.
I believe it's true what they say....a life of crime does not pay in the end. Look what happened to Bernie Madoff's buddy and partner in crime:
It wouldn't be any comfort to Madoff's victims that some of their money went to a worthwhile cause as the article states....reading Raks post, in Smyth's case, appears that his illgotten gains were partly squandered on his own personal harem which highlights the selfish greed at play here.
