Hi Booz No big sell offs in Perth. 10 years ago the gov sold off a lot of properties in Midland, Armadale etc. Was a quick way to upgrade the area. There is a waiting list of 40,000 people for public housing and a normal wait of 4 years. It is a real problem I am currently taking action to evict a long term tenant that cannot pay the rent. She is only paying $250pw and has fallen 4 weeks behind, really sad she has nothing. Where to next for somebody like that. Stay at friends, or on street. Before I get crucified by the do gooders she has mental issues and street kid son drains her money to feed lifestyle,been an ongoing issue for 2 years. Severe shortage of cheap accomadation in W.A. and like lotto if get a state house.
