Hey all. For full disclosure, I am from Datawind. We manufacture the PocketSurfer2. You can get quite a bit of info off www.pocketsurfer.com.au. As for some of the questions asked above, yes, it does do support flash, as it does active-X, Java screipts, Java apps, et.. but not support streaming video or any audio. The size is 156mm x 75mm x 15mm. It is thin, yet when open has the full backlit QWERTY keyboard and large screen. People compare the keypad to a RaZR. It has the same push button feel. There is no built-in memory, but there are partner sites for online storage (25GB) which you can access remotely, the ability to access your remote desktop, as well as the ability to create, change, and save any office document online. You can do your e-mail and IM including opening any common attachment. You pay for any extra heavy user browsing on the device itself and are billed monthly on your credit card. No contracts, no credit checks. It sells for $399 and includes free surfing of 20hrs/mo for 1 year. I have also heard that it is a better present than a blow-up Santa as well. Hope that helps.

Thanks all for the comments. Here are some replies to some questions. It is not a phone. We did not want to get into the whole all in one thing in which it doesn't do anything particularly well. Ours does the internet and it does it well. Keep your small phone and change it every 10 months. Comparing the internet on the PocketSurfer2 to a phone is like apples and oranges. Phones don't give you the real internet. Our screen is much larger as is our keyboard. The PocketSurfer2 does not change the format, layout and content of the web pages and pulls them in MUCH faster than any other device. It does things no phone can do. As for what industries, there is a huge range. We see demographics from young users using the IM, to seniors. We have share traders, real estate agents, travelling executives, ebayers, mobile field service personnel, etc..., a large segment is the average Joe shopping online, e-mailing, or just getting info whenever you need it. ie: resolving an arguement in a restaurant about cybernetics or internal combustion etc...
