While I agree it is hard to make assumptions from visiting 1 or 2 stores, I have no problem with a perception that stores are empty or shabby, or have poor customer service. If DS is underperforming relative to peers in that area, it's a good thing for current shareholders imho. In a word, upside. There is plenty of upside. I like this stock because it has a larger footprint to its peers and it is leading online sales. The future of bricks and mortar trading from overseas examples (especially in electronics/appliances) is omnichannel and click and collect. Dick Smith is better positioned than its peers to move into this space IF management can get it right.
