His first mistake is saying that we need " baseload power ". That proves that he doesn't understand the modern power system at all.
Baseload power is going the way of the horse and cart . Baseload is going broke today because it is being undercut by much cheaper renewables and storage .
Renewables plus storage is much more efficient and flexible than baseload . lt is creating efficiencies and opportunities that baseload can only dream of.
