In cetain sectors, you must employ full time halal inspectors/slaughtermen
they must have their own prayer room and prayer times.
Also, there is a fee to pack and stamp EVERY CARTON..EVERY ONE.. therefore some places i know, pay 25 cents per carton and they pack 10,000 per day.
If they do not comply, the countries they want to import the product too will not allow entry.
It is standover tactics and an extra tax the australian consumer pays for.
