Umm sorry Tony I have been busy counting profits on my sizeable MAK holding ... a stock which firmly indicates there is a major agricultural boom in train. Read FOOD BOOM.

Now getting back to you and your confusion ... Trees that produce food will always generate much larger profits than carbon credits. That COZ is so focussed on mallees shows they have a poor understanding of how the agricultural landscape will change with booming agricultural commodity prices. They could choose drought tolerant trees which still yield carbon payments, yet the primary more significant cashflow could come from the food production stream. Hey to me its not rocket science but I can see how you have trouble understanding whats happening out here in the bush.

Any tree would have struggled in last years drought ... the point was COZ will likely wear costs to replant where there have been deaths. I just like to keep it real for city folks like you ... Good luck!
