did anyone attend the palerang council meeting

Quite a bit of web coverage of the local council decision to express "concern" about the implications of the project. The local community seem generally to be onboard and I think the company have done a good job regarding this, but some reservations remain apparently regarding 7 day mining ops, traffic and water.

Does anyone have experience/opinion on how likely the NSW government are to be influenced by the local council decision?
