- Approx 75 people all up in the room, although i suspect about 1/3 were Greenies, including the man at the end who tried to interject about some green project but was shut down.
- They did have 'security guards' (female) outside the meeting room (as well as outside the building, although i didn't personally see any protestors).
- Chairman will now step down by February, with Mr Short replacing him as chairman
- Most questions came from 2 people at the front, the Chairman seemed to know them -- Mick and Sam. One of them worked on the engineering side of pipelines (?, wasn't really paying attention)
- Questions about whether the retirement/re-election of Mr Short breaches the company's constitution.
- Questions raised about whether they had released all material information to shareholders pertaining to the vote.
- They read Hotcopper. In particular I think it was the post by BlueLion last week which was in relation to the point above.
- Questions were raised whether the company misled investors when they said they were issued a production license (17 Sep 2012 announcement)
- A few people mentioned that the board were talking the company down
- Sovereign risk issues
- Apparently they did run a sale process and found no willing buyers.
- PH mentioned that they probably couldn't rely on police protection if they were to drill again. Chairman said that PH probably shouldn't have said it like that after the man from the front questioned PH's statement.
- Disappointingly no one, not even KBC/HHY asked why they shouldn't just wind the company up and return all funds to shareholders.
- Royalty: Government did not want to offer one.
