Yes, I wondered about that comment. Not sure if it was an accurate statement from the reporter or not.

However, as it was from a few years ago, when experience on the ground would have been less than it is today. My guess is that these were experienced heart surgeons and/or heart consultants and/or were here to see the unit fitted - not necessarily doing it themselves.

In any case, the oint was that one of the ppl in the theatre was wearing a cap with VENTRACOR on it...
