    Thanks for that NKLEX.

    Just going from the spreadsheet results it's more expensive than I imagined. The obvious question is why would you bother with all the risks associated with nuclear power when geothermal, for example, is cheaper and we have massive reserves of that?
    Solar thermal is twice the price but that cost is falling all the time with innovations like this.

    I notice it's for 'advanced nuclear' and that's still 25% more than coal so how much more is the 'normal nuclear'?
    I could go on and on, we just don't need the risk because there are good alternatives for the money and less.
