I partly agree with the sentiment in this.
China is fast taking the lead in Green technology. A further few things not mentioned in the article;
a)China is taking the lead in world Lithium manufacture, key to battery powered cars which are evolving faster than people realise.
b)China's manufacturing cost of wind turbines will allow them to dominate the market, they will do in this market what they did to Black and Decker drills. cheaper manufacture makes more wind sites viable.
The US (GE) realise they can't compete. Recently a Texas developer was politically forced to assemble Chinese turbines in the US. The couldn't compete on merit.
c) China is rapidly rolling out nuclear power which I consider a green technology and I think they dop to.
I have been in Beijing, Shanghai and Canto in recent months and the polution is not bad for a highly populated country. Rapid improvement and environmental awareness.
I don't accept the conspiracy aspect.
