In regards to Central's statement regarding oral argument, GRR's legal team are claiming that the oral argument will not be helpful.
GRR's leagal team states that the issue is clear. According to GRR's legal team, CTP failed to produce evidence disputing that its agent signed the contract granting Texas jurisdiction. CTP cannot dispute CTP’s own sole managing director and CEO (at the time), John Heugh, who testified that CTP specifically targeted Texas in its efforts to find a major or super-major farmout partner.
