So this tremendous Original Sin that Dammed all of Humanity and required, in the eyes of the Creator of the Universe no less, a Blood Sacrifice including torture to put 'right' was an act of disobedience by a pair of naive newly created people who could not tell right from wrong, who were led astray by the most cunning of beasts in the garden, also created by God (as the story goes) then condemned for doing exactly what was known would occur before it even happened (Omniscience)...and we are told that this fine situation is brought to us by the God of Love and tender mercy.
