can anyone shed light on what contracts are in place right now..
how has this company got to this stage ? it seems like they have approx 2000 systems delivered and are spending money manufacturing spare parts as well as trying to secure new contracts.. this is not a bad thing as long as the spare parts are turned into revenue reasonably quickly ?
Defence systems is profitable at ~ 10-15% ? the rest is simply drowning this company in expenses and costs ?
Covid really hurt EOS obviously but it looks like the wound is deep because being a defence manufacturer is kind of 'un flexible' so can't necessarily right size when things get tough ..
Space link has to go, Comms and Space systems perhaps as well.. sold off or closed down ? Very messy complicated business and can see that when looking at financials .. I know that there is vertical integration potential between space systems and defence systems so if they stop trying to sell SS seperately and integrate the technology and more importantly the 'service' side of it, into DS, surely there is a premium attributable for that ?
Another question would have to be.. are they pricing Defence systems products too low ?
I see amazing potential here in current environment, maybe they could go into uniform manufacture and steal the contract of the Chinese for Australian Defence Force
In all seriousness though, this is a company of sovereign importance and as distressing as this share capitulation must be, there is a lot more to protect here than just money..
