It was looking like opening well down today given BHP Billiton fell 1.6% in UK last night. BHP probably timed the announcement ahead of one of those down days.
Not happy that they've chosen to favour the big end of town (superfunds) with the buyback offer. Just goes to show the influence large super funds have.
