"Is there something higher that I'm not aware of ?"
    Yes.
Physical man has no significance beyond the Earth/Moon system and full man no real significance beyond the "Solar System" except as part of it.
Of course that's not something you can verify easily, so regard it like so many of the stories in the Bible which you seem able to accept without verification ?

    "Do you reject monotheism?"

Yes, if by monotheism you mean an anthropomorphic Creator of the Universe/God "personally" concerned with the individual life of a human on Earth.
The Creator of the Universe is the Universe, not something separate. Analogous to the way you are the sub creator of your "individual" universe. More than the sum of the parts but comprising all the parts.

"What gods do you believe in, if any?"
Again you would have to be more specific about what you mean by gods.
There are different but connected levels in the Universe, just as there are different levels in Man's consciousness and environment.

In general we live in the basement of our "self" and rarely suspect there are higher levels since they are not necessary for normal functioning at the level of ordinary life.
Occasionally those mentally disturbed or under the influence of certain drugs or poets in a moment of ecstasy or religious enlightenment etc have a taste of a higher state but have no control over the connection and no way to understand or put into words what they experienced. Some people are better prepared and more open to the influence of such states and the journey they represent.
Of course all this is conjecture and means nothing unless verified by you. What someone else understands or experiences can never be a substitute.

"If you were the creator and you saw the mess that humanity had become would you intervene to try and stop them or would you be happy to let them continue ?"

If such a creator existed and was concerned with the "mess that Humanity had become", there would long since have been intervention. It hasn't happened, at least not in the way you suggest.

Presumably Humanity fulfills the purpose for which it was created. When this is no longer the case, changes will be made or Humanity will be replaced. Man is subservient to greater forces and part of a greater whole, whether he knows it or not, or accepts it or not.

"The Biblical narrative, despite its problems, has answered most of my questions, but if it hasn't worked for others, such is life."
In which case, "nuff said !"
    For now.
