Morning Mr G, ....Well, it's morning here, that is. Now then, the cross or what ever it was, IMO is not relevant. Some may use it as an idol so to speak, but that you know is not correct if that is what you are doing with it and God warns us to look out for this type of thing. So effectively, what God said would happen, is so or confirmation of what He says will happen and if it were not so, He would not have told us so.
A cross if used in a Church is or should be, simply as a reminder/remembrance of what He has done for us, or reminder of the way to HIM. It is effectively as, or similar to, taking of the bread and wine - do this in remembrance of me.
On another note, not sure if you have been following me and my journey on the other thread. I won't discuss it on here as I don't wont to derail your thread here, so I will go over there for you.
