    That is what I like, a rational discussion.

    Rather than 'stop drilling', I would prefer there are no more "company makers" for the foreseeable future (i.e. the $40M exploration wells) until they work out what is wrong with their offshore exploration well selection process.

    Happy for them to drill the $1.6M exploration wells under the "singles and doubles" strategy in the CB. For the same amount of money as an offshore exploration well I can get multiple drills (factor of 25!), access to existing (and owned) infrastructure, an immediate tax deduction for my Australian based exploration spend etc etc.

    You are not on the 'wrong horse' IMHO and load up with what you can afford because the upside is greater than the downside. We may, however, have to change jockey come 30 June 2010!!

    (FYI: the girlfriend still has her shares in BPT and will not be selling until it has doubled in value).
