Yes, that is what usually happens, except that every major investment bank has committed to not funding coal, govts are telling the market that coal investment is toxic, the UK and Europe have already started throwing new taxes at coal and a dumb Labor govt here will no doubt do the same thing. Who is going to invest in reopening coal mines?
