    I think if you read what I posted, I said "most of the evidence".

    The Texan and other Americans who were involved are being charged, and thats the way it should be. There will always be crooks, regardless of race or creed. There is no evidence that the US government was involved.

    It would appear that in France the corruption is systemic and is being aide and abetted by the government, according to reliable sources in France.

    And the UN appointed and sponsored investigation also supports this view.

    How is this a fault of the US?

    Is this a case of "the victim is responsible for the crime?"
