Cashtup, nowhere to go? Try Victoria, India, Pakistan, US, Uk, Germany, Poland, etc etc.
Get my drift . . . . any deep coal deposit equals potential project. As for a Queensland no go decision, in my opinion that is extremely unlikely. More like all technologies will get a guernsey until one or more get the upper hand through true commercial considerations.
On that score, UCG stands a much better chance of success than any type of other clean coal technology.
One thing that seems to have missed a few peoples attention. CSIRO spent a fortune on developing the technology. CSIRO has a STRONG government overview and governenace on what CSIRO do, and they encouraged CSIRO to take the UCG path.
Government (at least at a national level) is only to well aware of the potential of UCG and its enormous advantages. Cashtup you might have your own agenda here, but for the rest of us, CXY offers a very cheap way of getting on baord the future of energy in Australia and beyond.
