This whole debacle is a disgrace and those responsible have really marginalised themselves, 'not' APT. The lowest common denominator will inevitably test your perimeter and APT, who at all times has acted with honourable intent (very important word) has come back all the stronger for it. As opposed to recent market disasters with other stocks, APT is clearly self regulating, in the finest tradition of what APRA and ASIC would expect. That does not mean that errors won't happen or mistakes won't be made, the differentiator here is that APT uses these events to grow ethically and responsibly, as opposed to those that are deliberately non compliant to facilitate gain. Whilst shorts or longs can promulgate stories, this recent chapter of shorting APT and the way it was done demonstrates the very ugly side of a market. There will be more games, but again ultimately it will be determined, not by sledging in the papers, but by what is on the scoreboard. These are my views not advice and DYOR GLTAH.
