I agree with your interpretation of the run on HDR today. Corporate action - a move by WPL, or those close to HDR pushing it up before a capital raising in the UK?? The JV has been extremely tight with information leaks to date so I if there is news regarding Banda it would be surprising if insiders close to HDR were the only ones to know. HDR provides better leverage but a good find would also be significant for the other partners.

The OPEC meeting was probably weighing on the oil stocks in generla today - hence the falls in WPL and BHP. I'm not sure why ROC would fall. In this case, these falls tell us little about the results of Banda.
