they probably have in excess of 5bt of mag at karara, another billion won't make a difference imo
the placement details - that's the crux of the matter, unless people think they can fund the over run with the hematite sales, which at a 25% net cash margin they may as well not bother giving it away to sinosteel i guess they are going halvies in the profit (like bci and fmg)
