re: forget about the pipeline ! The gas pipe deal was never going to be easy ...and even IF it was announced as a goer tomorrow ..the reality is it would be at least 3 years away.
Look at OSH on a reserves and resources basis ----- the quarterly just gone reserves of oil are about 150 mill BOE ( and thats with out any speculation on what the latest Moran 1 results might add ) ...so without the gas the company is currently valued at approx $9.0 aussie per barrel of oil in reserve and in production ( thats a big difference to stuff sitting in the ground without production infrustructure .
Last full year report resources were stated at approx 1 billion BOE ( presumably this includes gas ) ....my guess is the company's reserves will approach 200 mill BOE within the next year ..... earnngs per share will be approx 12 cents +
With all that I'm not so sure how the price of the stock could be too far sold down if the pipeline deal was shelved ...for another 10 years.
