So a short-term cyclical variation in an exchange rate had no bearing on ARB shareholder value over the past 6 months?
It had no bearing on EBIT margins?
It had no bearing on the ~200% share price rise since the march lows?
I agree that exogenous variables balance themselves out over the long term and can be largely ignored by set and forget investors, but rapid variations can and do effect shareholder value in the short to medium term.
Noting it took almost a decade to achieve the same returns as the last 6.5 months.
