Thanks Nic ,spent entire morning researching this and I too came across the Rentech audi trial the results were great .Overall there is precious little on the energy output of synthetic diesel vs conventional sure emissions are less and I gathered that calorific value may be slightly less but certainly not 1/2Conventional diesel has a value of 46mj/kg -guess will have to wait for a number on the LNC product.This really is a ground breaking journey
