There's no east coast gas shortage, plenty around, it just goes offshore. Neither side of politics was smart enough to put a reserve in place for domestic use.
Ideology eventually gave way to common sense , just took awhile. It was about looking good, now it's about practicality. We're in a good position with a now performing gas plant and another with underutilized capacity that is ripe for a processing deal involving external parties. Even the tech disruptors and auto makers recognize that the transition to renewables will involve a couple of decades.
This has gone from a sell to a hold for me after recent developments, especially regarding Orbost performance.
