yes, but, I only use the longer ones
atm - I use a tiny one - 5kg I think - then a 15kg and a 25kg
I just muck about with them -- I double them up - and the boat is fantastic for using them - because it's got all these strong hitching points -
like the winches --- I loop the 25 kg one over a winch - and that instantly becomes like a rowing machine.
The one's I use are 1 metre long.
I also do some sort of unilateral push - using the same winch point -
like this - but, I have a more aggressive stance and the arm is about horizontal --

man - that gives my abdominals a work out. It also works the thighs and god knows what else.
I really find them good - starting with some ultra light stretching - then, doing just really only minutes of work --------- that gets thermogenesis going something shocking --
then, I make sure that my bag is already packed to go - and, if on bike - make sure the bike is ready waiting - all I have to do is put on the gloves and helmet - throw the pack on and go - if walking - just put on a cap, pack and go
in zero degrees T shirt -------- it's bliss - the body stays warm as long as I keep moving.
I saw a girl at the gym using one band - and, not a heavy one from memory - she was lifting herself on a horizontal bar and somehow put the band up - I should have watched how she did that -- but, that's the bit I don't know -
she then - stepped up into the loop - and it aided her - she had a fantastic back - beautiful shape and muscles all in the right places.
I have no issues with the back muscles - it's the biceps etc that I want to protect - until they get with the program - although I lift more than blokes double my weight easily - I can do damage easily as well - and, it takes a long repair time I've found out (sometimes)
