I know you said it as a joke ---------- but, make sure it's not in your head that the more exercise you do that the more weight you'll lose ------

if you're beginning to do 10 km a day and are looking like an out of balance washing machine ----------- that's fantastic for your health - but, your weight is likely to start going UP - not down. There will be a point it happens - trick is knowing when.

Image at this point if you began to do weight work - and, started to puff up lots of muscle fibres - what might you see on those little red numbers ????

I have a shirt - one shirt - that tells me what I really need to know - it's tight ---- drum tight - and, if I look at that shirt and I think --------------- na, not ready for that -------------- then, I know I need to eat less cals - via less carbs.

That shirt comes and goes in and out of my wear list - depending on if I'm eating like a normal human or watching what I do - even if I'm walking 20km a day average.

If I went to somewhere that was a 40 km ride return - and, at the halfway mark - had a coffee and a cake and say 1 glass of wine. ----------- That's boom - there's more calorie intake there - than, I've burned off in the entire ride.
Not saying it's bad - but, that's the way it works.

Of course - different for a woman - they carry their fat on hips and bum (generally) - whereas we tend to carry it on the apron.

If a bloke is fit and strong - he can have an amazing six pack - but, you still can't see it - because it's hiding under an apron.

I know how mine is going - because I can feel it - it's either a bunch of corrugations under the paunch ----------- or it's kind of smooth.

Ageing body is a bit of a bugger - you can't get away with much. Even if you can run, walk or bike the r's off ones 20 to 30 years younger - they can still look trimmer.
