On the on hand you decry their acts but then provide them some sort of legitamcy and rationale.

As for me being scared of the Chinese...not really...not yet.
But soon...maybe sooner that you think.... we, the West will have to deal with this giant as it seeks to spread its influence; establish its hegemony and feed its raveous appetite for goods and minerals.
Maybe not me.... but my kids will have to deal with it.
