But you then seemingly always add a.... but...

...a but that puts paid to the assumed basis for you comment.

ie..."It is however hypocritical of us to now critisize countries who are still in the earlier stages of building their wealth for not putting a higher priority on areas we did not put a high priority on when we were at the same stage."

On the on hand you decry their acts but then provide them some sort of legitamcy and rationale.

As for me being scared of the Chinese...not really...not yet.

But soon...maybe sooner that you think.... we, the West will have to deal with this giant as it seeks to spread its influence; establish its hegemony and feed its raveous appetite for goods and minerals.

Maybe not me.... but my kids will have to deal with it.
